My first photography article, university aside, was for Outdoor Photography in 2004. Since then I have written for a number of magazines - Outdoor Photography, Amateur Photographer, Techradar, Digital Camera, TGO, On Landscape, Landscape Photography Magazine and more recently, Elements - a superb and relatively new online landscape photography magazine.

My degree was in English language and literature, so writing has always seemed a natural extension of my photographic work.

I am also working on a Fotovue book on photographing the Yorkshire Dales - though this has been on hold a wee while.
