The two piers and harbour of Whitby

​This panorama of Whitby's picturesque twin piers and harbour took some making! It was a wet and blustery Summer's evening, with some lovely colour in the sky. Despite the weather, tourists were flocking to and from the pier, meaning it was very hard to avoid tripod shake and to exclude people from the composition. Bearing in mind this pano was made from 10 different frames, with 3 exposures per frame to control the dynamic range, it required a good deal of patience and perseverance to complete the image. I'm not sure my two dogs would agree, but I felt it was well worth it!
