The Brewer Staircase, Heals

​The wonderfully designed and exotic spiral staircase in Heal’s Department Store on Tottenham Court Road. This was designed in the early 20th century by the architect Cecil Brewer. Here I wanted to show the rather effective juxtaposition of the stone wall and windows with the curves of the staircase and its brightly lit orbs.
