Stonesdale Barn, Yorkshire Dales

​Classic Yorkshire Dales - this lovely little barn above Stonesdale Beck with its elegantly curving track leading up the hill onto the moor. Although the colours were lovely on this late evening in Summer, I chose to convert to black and white - partly to accentuate the graphic nature of this scene but also because the land is actually rather scarred which takes away from the rich greens of the pastureland.
