Scots pine, Slioch

A morning that seemed destined to fizzle out from a photographic perspective, suddenly came alive as some warm light found a way to pierce the clouds and illuminate this shapely Scots pine tree near the shores of Loch Maree. The majestic form of Slioch always makes a fantastic backdrop, even more so with a covering of snow.
