Lichen draped Stone Forest, Zagoria

Greece's answer to Jackson Pollock? This scene near the Vikos Gorge just demanded my attention. The riot of colour and texture was utterly mesmerising. Wanting to emphasise the incredible depth and richness of texture, I took a series of images to use in a focus stack. An ambitious move, but Zerene Focus Stacking software has coped admirably with the complexity of the scene.
