Ethereal Grasmere

A winter’s afternoon of low lying cloud, mist and even a little smoke, all combined to create an ethereal scene looking across the little lake of Grasmere. It was an incredibly still day and the super reflections that resulted only added to the magical sight before me. What a place the Lake District can be! The rather beautifully rounded fell in the centre is Helm Crag with Seat Sandal to the far right.
