North Yorkshire Moors & Coast workshop report

I spent last weekend running a workshop in the North York Moors, also taking in one or two locations on Yorkshire's spectacular coastline. Accommodation and transport courtesy of Mike and Amanda Hawtin at 11 Westgate in Pickering. Their B&B comes highly recommended and they are extremely well placed for much of Yorkshire's finest scenery.

Many thanks to John, Tim, Catriona, Neil and Ollie for being such enthusiastic participants, great company, and for agreeing to get up at such an unsociable hour on the Sunday morning! Many thanks to Mike for organising the weekend and driving us all safely. I think it would be fair to say that most people's favourite location of the weekend was the fascinating shoreline at Port Mulgrave.

We enjoyed some rather good weather - too good to be honest - but, after the summer we've had, perhaps I shouldn't complain...
