Sunset on the Cleveland Way
The stone path of the Cleveland Way, flanked by heather at sunset, with Whorl Hill and Swainby below. When I first saw this view, I immediately thought in terms of a sunset image (although it's also super at sunrise). I visited the area on several occasions during the summer, hoping to get some lovely warm rays of light on the land below. Each time the cloud banked up on the horizon - so I've yet to get the image I have in mind but still enjoy the intense purple of the heather and colourful sky.
