Sunrise, Loch Clair
A much photographed scene and rightly so - there can't be many finer views than this! I would love to tell you about the peace and serenity surrounding me when I made this panorama. The reality is I'd left a little late and arrived as a glorious purple sky was at its peak. I ran down in shoes, getting very wet feet in the process, and of course got there too late for the crazy purple sky. Thankfully some characterful clouds remained and, after a little wait, some glorious early light illuminated the impressive peaks of Liathach and Beinn Eighe.
