The mountain fringed lake of Tso Moriri at dusk

​The salt water lake of Tso Moriri lies at an altitude of around 15,000 feet - which should give you a good idea as to the magnitude of the snow capped mountains on the distant shore here. On a blustery and beautiful evening, the sky turned a wonderful mix of pink and blue, with the waters of the lake reflecting the colours.
