Man versus Nature : Hodge Close Quarry

I loved the way this litle army of birch saplings were taking back the landscape at Hodge Close Quarry, almost dominating the tiny stone dwelling. This is a focus stacked image, so ensuring I was able to get pretty much all of the birches in focus - I wanted to give them as much prominence as possible.
