Lone skier, Rondane, Norway

Lone figure skis across the snow covered lake in Rondane National Park in winter. This was one of those incredibly rewarding moments when, after a hard day of skiing with camera gear on my back, I was rewarded with some dramatic light, amazing scenery, and a lone little figure skiing across the frozen lake. Even better, he was wearing a red top! This photograph won an award (Commended) in Travel Photographer of the Year in 2010 (TPOTY) and it remains one of my favourite images.
