Hawthorn and Ingleborough at dawn
Dawn on the limestone pavement at Twistleton Scar, with patches of low cloud clinging to the sides of Ingleborough. This was one of those mornings when nothing went to plan, except for the end result (thankfully!). Amongst the things that were not intentional were: getting up an hour early, getting my car stuck in a hidden bog and bringing my husband's size 11 boots, instead of my own. Amazing really that I was in place for my intended dawn shoot and how lovely it was! My feet and socks were shredded by the time I'd walked back down to the car but a kindly farmer towed me out of the bog and all was well.
