Ghosts of the Strid

The River Wharfe often takes on a new character as it is channelled through the narrow, rocky channel at the Strid. On this spring day, the waters were relatively benign, yet still creating intriguing and mesmerising patterns, as the river gently flowed downstream. Here the faces of the past were surely staring back at me?
