Frozen galaxies, North Yorkshire

Discovered on one of my local, lockdown walks, this flooded corner of a small offered a glimpse into the possibilities of a parallel world. Tiny bubbles frozen in time, blades of grass and a myriad of different colours and patterns – you could have been forgiven for thinking you were staring into another planet.
