Burnt by the sun: the landscape near Sesriem

​These acacia trees, starved of water and long dead, once grew along a river bed, now diverted by the vast sand dunes. They create an eerie landscape, set against the massive dunes and shimmering in the heat haze of the late afternoon sun.
