Boulder field, Dalmore

Dalmore is my favourite beach on the Isle of Lewis and, on this particular visit, it was perhaps the best I'd ever seen it, with huge numbers of gneiss boulders exposed after winter storms. Trying to find a complementary background to allow the boulders to have their say was difficult but, in the end, I was really happy with this combination.
