Blue and gold, Derwent Water

Jewel like birch leaves in their autumn guise always seem irresistible - here, as the rain eased for a while, I was able to catch them against a wonderful gradient of rippled blue, as a rather overflowing Derwent Water provided the perfect backdrop.
