Birches in water, Loch Maree

The water levels were very high on this visit to Loch Maree, allowing me all sorts of creative possibilities with these lovely loch-side birch trees. On my previous visit they'd been well out of the water. This time they were surrounded and I used a neutral density filter to allow a 6 second exposure, so smoothing the ripples on the water and giving greater dominance to the autumnal birches.
