Beams of light : Autumn in Wharfedale

​Mixed woodland on a steep side bank of the River Wharfe near Grassington. The combination of colours and textures was compelling in itself, but the short-lived edition of beams of sunlight illuminating the scene was the icing on the cake! It really is wonderful when a chance encounter like this presents you with all the ingredients you could dream of!
