Backlit, raining birches in Riccaldale

Birch trees have so many different guises, looking wonderful at almost any time of year. Backlit in Springtime must be one of their best though - with the emerging new leaves sparkling like rain showers. Riccaldale’s mixed woodland is a heavenly place to walk through, particularly on an evening such as this.
