Autumn birches, Guisecliff
I had walked past this lovely group of birch trees on countless occasions, never catching conditions that allowed me to do them justice photographically speaking. On this early morning in autumn, I was blessed with some light fog, allowing the autumn colours to sing and providing a bit of separation from the chaotic surroundings of a characterful northern woodland.
