A moment of light, Borrowdale

I knew there must be a good reason why I was carrying all my camera gear up a steep hill in the most unpromising conditions after a long and tiring day of exploring. There was certainly no hint that this amazing display of light and colour was going to happen but a hard slog was well rewarded and it was amazing to witness both the rainbow and the light playing over Castle Crag and the surrounding land for a few brief moments.
