Speaker at Moorsview landscape photography seminar, 31st October
Posted on 13th October, 2015
I’m delighted to be one of the speakers at Moorsview on 31st October - a one day landscape photography seminar at Kirk Theatre in Pickering, North Yorkshire.
The event has been organised by John Clifton (PC Photographic) and Trailblazer Outdoors and is in support of the incredible work done by the Scarborough and Rydedale Mountain Rescue Team. A super group of photographers are taking part, including one of the UK’s finest landscape photographers - David Ward. A real honour to be sharing the same stage as David who, as well as being an inspirational photographer, is a superb and very thoughtful speaker. I will be speaking about ‘getting in closer’ - covering my experiences of photographing the moors and coast over the last few years and how my perspective has changed and developed over this time. The Mountain Rescue Team will also be offering practical advice for safe photography throughout the year, and particularly in winter - something we all need to be reminded about!
Tickets for the day are still available and can be purchased through the Scarborough and Mountain Rescue Team website and you can also read more information on the poster below. There is also an exhibition of photographs taking place at the Pickering Gallery - I have a number of framed works on display and the exhibition runs until 8th November.
