Image accepted for Joe Cornish Galleries Summer Exhibition

This is probably my favourite image from last year so I was very happy to see it had been chosen for the annual summer exhibition at the Joe Cornish galleries in Northallerton.

Any image submitted has to be framed and this is an A2 sized print that normally hangs on the wall at home. Of course it is also available for sale, as a limited edition print. It combines some of my favourite subject matters - the sea, rock formations and stormy skies! It's shows a wonderfully formed area of shale sea bed, only exposed at a very low tide in Saltwick Bay. Soon after this was made, the sky went crazy and both clouds and sea turned a violent shade of pink!
